Man Named Harry Potter Sells First Edition Book for $38,000

A man named Harry Potter has sold a first-edition copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at auction. The book was from publisher Bloomsbury's first batch of only 500 copies and was sold to a private buyer for just under $38,000.

Harry was given the book by his father David in 1997 when he was 8 years old. David bought the book, which was released in June that year when he saw that the main character had the same name as his son.
