People may think I watched the Squid Game because it's hyped or trending. Well, yeah, honestly that's one of the reasons. Then, I found the first parts of the series really gruesome and bloody but I did not expect that I'm going to be entertained. The characters are not really extraordinary but they played their parts well and the plot, setting, and storyline were brilliant. Yes, the story focused on people's love for money and the choices they need to make when being place in such a predicament.
I was amused by the main character's opposite take on life, the other one being destroyed for his love of money and the other one being the dreamer, someone who believes that there's always good in humanity. Actually, while I was watching the series coming to an end, I also thought of such a question, does money make us happy? or does the love of money destroy our happiness?
Actually, the games presented in the series made me happy, it was nostalgic. It's one of the things, you can look forward to and definitely will have fun watching throughout the series.
